Coaching Services

One of the things I love most about working with runners is how unique every runner is. A training program that works for your friend may not work for you. I believe in creating custom training programs to help individual runners reach the next level. Each training program is designed for that runner’s unique needs/goals.

I work with runners specializing in all distances from 800m to marathon to triathletes as well as other athletes looking to improve their running performance. I also have a special interest in working with beginners.unning coach detroit

During an assessment various tests are used to determine areas of muscle imbalances.

My customized Coaching Services begin with a complete 60 minute assessment for $75.

    • Discussion of goals and what you are looking for in a coach
    • Full body assessment to determine muscle imbalances
    • Form analysis

During the course of following my training program I learned how to better prep for runs and better running while running faster. While at the same time the speed workouts help me increase my overall speed so that my average pace is 30 sec per mile faster that last year. I dropped my half marathon times by 13 min from 1:58 to 1:45 and I finished my first marathon at the exactly the same pace I completed my first half marathon a year ago.

I feel like I’m a more complete runner today with better prep techniques and running form. I can run faster and longer and not hurt myself. And most importantly I met my goal of a sub 4 hour marathon with no injuries and less than a week recovery time. I sincerely could not ask for anything more.

Stefanie has been very helpful coaching me from 5K to a full marathon. If you want to improve your running game, hiring a running coach is a smart investment. Stefanie worked with me to go from a beginning runner with lots of questions to a better runner with a few PR’s accomplished along the way. Looking forward to setting and achieving more goals in the next year and beyond.

At the beginning of 2014, Stefanie and I met to discuss a running training plan and what races I wanted to run. She wrote a plan for me for the entire year, and I loved it! With Stefanie’s training plan, I stayed focused and injury free all year. I really appreciate the fact that she is always available for questions and advice in regards to training too. I’m looking forward to my 2015 running training program from Stefanie!

I started coach Stefanie’s 3.101 run plan in May 2014. I went from not being able to run around the block, to running my 5th 5k in Nov 2014. She also teaches strength training, injury prevention and more. Plain and simple. HER PLAN WORKS!!!!

I would highly recommend Stefanie. I didn’t know very much about running when I met her and she is very knowledgable, patient and encouraging. I will definitely work with her again!

I was impressed by Stefanie’s knowledge and passion for running! Her emphasis for me was on proper techniques, healthy nutrition, injury prevention and safety. She answers questions and demonstrates techniques for better understanding. The goals she set for me are clear and attainable.

I began Coach Stefanie’s 3.101 training in May 2014 in preparation of running a 5K at the end of the 12 weeks in July! I followed Coach Stefanie’s training to the letter and on July 26th I ran my first 5K. I had set a personal goal of at least running a 12 minute mile, but to my surprise I ran an 11:43 minute mile! I was so excited, I had exceeded my goal! Since that time I have run two more 5Ks and broke my PRs (personal record) each time! I am now running a 10:50 minute mile. I am currently training for my first 10K and the Free Press International Half Marathon in 2015! This program has far exceeded my expectations because of Coach Stefanie’s training program, encouragement and dedication! And of course my commitment to the program has made me a runner!
