Training Plan: 5K Beginner III
THIS 8-WEEK PROGRAM IS GEARED TOWARD BEGINNERS. IT IS DESIGNED FOR SOMEONE WHO RUNS AS PART OF HIS OR HER REGULAR CARDIO ROUTINE BUT DOES NOT CONSIDER THEMSELVES “A RUNNER”. THEY CAN RUN AT LEAST 2 MILES OR 20 MINUTES ALREADY AND ARE LOOKING TO RUN THEIR FIRST OR SECOND 5K WITH A GOAL TIME IN MIND.
This program includes 4 days of running, 2 days of stretching and strengthening activities and 1 day of rest.
